On November 2001 I was hired at the Education Department in the position of career counselor. I am in possession of a Masters degree in Counseling and a Bachelors degree in Psychology. My objective has always been to contribute to the development of our island’s youth and this job affords me the opportunity to do so.

My job entails: assisting students in planning for college/identifying schools, career testing, assisting with change of major requests, assisting with transfer requests, admittance to schools (if necessary), creating a resume databank, gathering information on the future plans of graduating students.

I also provide workshops to students in secondary schools, assist with the preparation of students for departure to pursue their studies, and assist study financing recipients with issues that they might be having while on study financing affecting their studies.
